Shannon Hunter is the Social Media Manager for Virgin Mobile Canada, having previously worked with Dare as a Social Media Strategist, Capital C as the Digital Stratgist & Community Manager for the Nissan and Infiniti Brands and Saatchi & Saatchi as the Community Manager for Toyota.

It was with Toyota that Shannon ran the first geo-targeted promoted trend in Canada and used social channels to increase Toyota’s brand affinity following a devastating recall.As the social media manager for Virgin Mobile Shannon is focused on improving CRM, creating beautiful content worthy of sharing and building brand affinity through social media.

Shannon is an advocate of social media for social good and has been using her skills to raise money for the Heart & Stroke Foundation through her #LoveAHeart event for the past 4 years. A big believer in unicorns there is no project too big or too complicated for Shannon.
