Top SaaS Marketing Communities to Join in 2024
Last updated: August 27th, 2024
As a SaaS professional, connections are everything, and online communities are the place to start. They bridge the distance barrier between you and like-minded professionals and allow you to bounce ideas around the community and get the support you need from those who understand first-hand.
Of course, not all SaaS communities are created equal, which begs the question: which SaaS communities are worth joining? There are SaaS Slack groups, marketing Slack groups, a Reddit subthread, or more exclusive invite-only communities, so here’s our comprehensive list of the best online communities. Check out what we’ve found for you.
Formal Online Communities
These more formal online SaaS communities have their own website and require sign-up and sometimes a membership payment to join. They are also often connected to face-to-face networking events and conferences.
Indie Hackers

Indie Hackers is a community of both experienced SaaS professionals and brand-new entrepreneurs just finding their feet. You can join the forum chat and submit a question, and search for jobs or a business partner. The community also produces a newsletter and hosts face-to-face events.
This community is free to join. You just have to sign up, and then you can begin contributing to the forum.
SaaStock

SaaStock is a name you might have heard in reference to the annual SaaS conference and events this community hosts. SaaStock is also a members-only community that accepts B2B SaaS founders with an ARR greater than $100,000.
If you join, you’ll have access to curated peer groups, members-only events, the SaaStock content library, discounted access to SaaStock events, and exclusive startup founder deals. This online community is quite new, having formed in 2021, but it’s soared in popularity to become an industry leader.
SaaStr

SaaStr is another professional network you may have heard of from their global SaaS conferences. They’ve been around for a while now and have over 600,000 members. The founder of SaaStr is Jason Lemkin, a veteran SaaS founder turned venture capital fund director.
When you join this community, you get access to weekly email newsletters, exclusive content and resources, and discounts on event tickets.
Product-Led Alliance

Product-Led Alliance is a community of SaaS product developers and leaders. This community gives you the ability to advance your career using their mentorship and learning materials – some of which are freely available. They have both digital and face-to-face events and workshops, podcasts, a content hub, and a regular newsletter publication. There is also a Slack channel for discussion amongst members.
It’s possible to join for free and get limited access to content. But, if you choose a paid membership, you get greater access to benefits like discounts on event tickets and exclusive content.
Startup Grind

Startup Grind is an enormous global community of startups helping startups. They have local chapters worldwide for regional networking, but you can also connect digitally with startups from afar. They host a range of events, from hackathons to workshops and panel discussions, as well as an annual conference. Members will also receive a monthly newsletter.
All 7000+ members are vetted. If you become one, you get access to mentor and investor introductions, the members-only Slack channel, exclusive offers, and discounts.
No Code Founders

No Code Founders is a community specifically for founders, entrepreneurs, product developers, marketers, and almost anyone who prefers using no-code tools in their SaaS business. This community allows you to connect with others and get feedback through a dedicated Slack channel. You can also use the community to hire no-code experts.
As a member, you’ll join over 20,000 others with access to learning materials and courses, a tool directory, and exclusive discounts.
Online Geniuses

Online Geniuses began as a Skype group back in 2015 and has expanded into the community it is today. It’s predominantly a place for digital marketing professionals but will have a lot of relevance to anyone involved in a SaaS startup. They have a tight vetting process – every member is vetted individually. As a result, there is a two-week waiting period for membership confirmation.
The community has moved away from Skype and now makes use of Slack for member discussions. With the free Online Geniuses membership, you’ll have access to Q&A sessions, be able to seek advice from peers, and access tools and resources.
Traffic Think Tank

Traffic Think Tank is an educational resource and a community sounding board for your SaaS product and marketing ideas. It isn’t free to access and is a little on the pricey side, but this means that its members are serious about networking.
They host a wide range of courses developed by industry professionals that are frequently updated. There are two membership options; the cheaper option for $99/month will give you access to live Q&A sessions, all the courses and webinars, and special members-only perks. But, if you want access to an exclusive Slack group for easy communication with other members, you’ll have to pay the full membership price of $119/month.
Starter Story

Starter Story is essentially a collection of over 4,500 founder case studies and a discussion forum that’s available with a membership payment. The founder case studies come from those at different stages in their business growth journey, so you’re sure to find helpful tips and advice. Better still, you can access a directory of founders and filter by business type, category, or revenue made.
There are two membership tiers with a one-off lifetime payment – Founder for $695 and Access for $1,095. The Founder membership plan gives you access to all the case studies, but the Access plan gives you additional access to courses and discounts on tools and software.
Startup Sauce

Startup Sauce is a SaaS community for those lacking the connections that are made possible within Silicon Valley. It offers virtual networking and in-person events, including an active Slack channel, monthly fireside chats, hotseat calls, and speed networking events. Members also receive discounts and offers.
The benefits of joining this community include a free marketing plan audit and networking opportunities for SEO-boosting backlinks. Membership costs $99/month, and they encourage SaaS founders making at least $5,000 MRR to apply. If you aren’t quite at that level yet, it’s not a problem. You can join the waiting list and they’ll even provide you with some learning materials to help you boost growth in the meantime.
Informal Online Communities
These informal online SaaS communities don’t offer perks like access to a resource library or event discounts. They are mostly forums and chats, but they allow you to connect in the simplest form, and they’re incredibly budget-friendly for those unable to commit to membership costs.
SaaS Invaders

SaaS Invaders is a community space where SaaS startups gain access to deals and discounts on tools and other resources. It doesn’t cost anything to sign up, so there are only gains to be had. The extra benefit of SaaS Invaders is the community forum board they host. You can see comments and a summary of each post, but you must be registered to engage with each discussion post.
SaaS LTD Deals

SaaS Lifetime Deals is another SaaS deals and discounts page except this one provides lifetime deals as opposed to discounts on monthly or yearly fees. There is also a blog and community forum space on Facebook. The focus is primarily on exclusive discounts and in-depth reviews of tools and software, but the private Facebook group has over 12,000 members and is a great place for SaaS discussion as well as sales and marketing tips.
Product Led

Product Led is a community of marketers who are using or are interested in using a product led growth business strategy. On the website, you’ll find free digital access to their ebook, or you can sign up to get 3 free chapters of the product-led manual. There is also a blog, podcast, and YouTube channel to go to for tips and tricks. There is also a coaching program run by Wes Bush, the author and founder of the Product Led community. Prices for the coaching program are hefty, starting at $10,000.
That said, the free community space, which is hosted on their Slack channel, gives you access to over 15,000 professionals and peers from around the world. Here, you can learn from others, get advice on tech stacks to use, and share information about industry events and jobs.

Naturally, there is also r/SaaS on Reddit and r/bigseo. Reddit is entirely public and largely unmoderated, but you don’t have to post publicly. It can also be used to browse advice provided by others to questions that interest you. There is a space for weekly feedback posts, but beyond that, there are no categories. All posts are shown in chronological order.
