Can I pick which channels to focus on first?

But we also have a systematic process for reviewing performance of different channels and we can usually tell which channels will work best in advance based on that and our in-depth experience of SaaS.

Are the agency fees and ad spend rolled into one number?

Many agencies will bill you for ad spend. But we think this creates perverse incentives.

What is PPC?

PPC stands for pay-per-click. It’s a blanket term for paid advertising through channels like Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads and Bing Ads.

It’s actually a misleading term because not every ad campaign you run will be paying for clicks – sometimes you’ll be paying for other things like reach or interactions.

But because it’s so widely used as a substitute for paid advertising, we use it too 🙂
